It’s time to break the cycle.
You heard me.
It’s time to stop, reflect and appreciate everything you have achieved.
Remember, that time you first stepped in the gym and were feeling a little unsure but then you showed up, put in the work and now are lifting big numbers, moving well and pushing your limits?
Remember, your first day of work? Feeling out of place, unsure how exactly you are going to ‘make it’? Now check yourself out, doing your thing, maybe you’ve climbed that ladder or perhaps that passion project of yours has launched.
Despite all the failures and set backs (which are normal) when we really sit back and reflect we can see what we have achieved, what we want to achieve and what we need to do to forge ahead.
So give yourself a break, give yourself the opportunity to sit back and work out what you really want and to reflect on how far you’ve come. This all takes work but without work there is no reward.
